Agnieszka Zapotoczna (born 1994) is a self-taught contemporary abstract painter who lives and works in Wroclaw, Poland
Her works reflect her perception of the world through the prism of neuroatypicality.

In her art, Aga employs gestures, irregular lines, and splashes of paint to create expressive and emotional works. The subject matter of her pieces is often suggestive, exploring the complexities of the human mind, interpersonal relationships, emotions, and neurodiversity.

She applies media to the canvas in a bold and intuitive manner, creating organic shapes and non-discursive compositions.

Aga's work is characterized by rich colors and contrasts, as well as subtle nuances and textural effects. She employs mixed techniques, including brushwork, dripping, throwing, and scratching, to achieve the effects characteristic of her unique style.

Process and inspiration
My artistic process is entirely intuitive, which means that when creating each piece, I let my instincts and emotions guide me.

I abandon any preconceived concepts and open myself up to spontaneity and free expression.
Everything around me influences my creativity. However, my primary sources of inspiration are my life experiences and personal reflections. I believe that words cannot capture what I feel inside as vividly as color and form can.

I would describe my style as free, intuitive, and gestural. It is mostly abstract with vague thematic references. I usually let my movements dictate the final outcome.

In my paintings, I intentionally leave room for individual interpretation, allowing each artwork to become unique depending on how it is perceived by the viewer.
My works often express my individual expression and artistic freedom. I work with various media, exploring the interplay of different materials and textures.
